Be The Change Austin is part of a national network of service events that happen near October 5 – Gandhi’s birthday – and is based in most cities at the area’s university. The event is sponsored nationally by SAALT – South Asian American’s Leading Together. SAALT, based near Washington DC, works to be a leading voice representing and connecting the South Asian community across the United States.
