Every year Be The Change  (BTC) celebrates the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi with an annual day of service. The creative expression contest is a part of the overall BTC effort and provides a way to get youth involved.  This contest offers an opportunity for Central Texas youth to learn about the life and legacy of Gandhi while growing their creative expression skills!

This marks the 6th year of the contest, and we’ve offered 2 prompts instead of just one. We’ve also taken the contest beyond just writing to include all forms of creative expression from photos, writing, art, photo essays and more.

We need your help to fund $4,500 in prizes and $1,000 in miscellaneous Be The Change expenses. Please give generously to this cause, but no donation is too small as it’s the spirit that matters.
